Client Testimonial: Thank you for your work and should the need for more artwork arise, you will be the first person I contact. Your work has aligned perfectly with my vision. From start to finish, the process has been hassle free. You have a very professional business model and it has been a pleasure to deal with you.
Ready to rock? This metal inspired design features a stormy sky and floating bat-winged skull complete with a pair of bangin’ sunglasses. The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it. Vinyl boat wrap of a Sugar Skull girl with tentacles for hair and Medusa on a bed or roses I created for Silver City Mobile Detailing.
This might be the most complex vinyl wrap graphic I’ve ever worked on! So much time went into the detail of every snake, and every tentacle. To make things more complex, the size of the illustration was over 10 feet long! I created the line art in Clip Studio Paint, and then colored everything as a vector in Adobe Illustrator so everything would print nice and crisp.
T-shirt design and poster I was hired to create for the popular band, the Moonshine Bandits, where I was asked to draw the band members as skeletons driving their iconic off-road limo.
We chose to take a Big Daddy Roth approach, and make the characters larger than life so we could really focus on the small characteristics (such as the tattoos, hair-styles, etc) that make them identifiable. Set up for silk-screening with under six colors.

Love! Thanks and look forward to working together again.

Check out this evil skull emerging from the galaxy to devour the earth, for the band called Ammannait! This is one of my favorite album covers I designed ever! I sketched a bunch of concepts that I thought the band would like ever listening to their music. This one was the simplest, but definitely the strongest. Rather than adding a lot of details, I focused more on the color scheme and a strong layout, and I think it paid off well.
Dark illustration of a grim reaper holding his iconic scythe and an hourglass. Skull candles and fire surrounds him.

I created this custom YouTube banner of the mythical Pandora’s box for a political channel out of the UK, discussing potential economic and political disasters (fun!).
The client wanted something really dark and mysterious, and hand-illustrated, to differentiate himself from similar channels.

Nothing better than spending an evening painting a grinning skull engulfed in flames. Good times.

Series of illustrations I created for a submission to Cabella’s – the snake and guns design was picked and will be available in the stores soon. It’s always a challenge for me to draw something realistic like this snake while only using a few colors (for silk-screening).Happy with how it turned out.
Bass fishing illustrations I created for Take A Break clothing. We wanted to take a sort of harder, more stylized and graphic edge to these designs, in contrast to the hyper-realistic renderings out there. These were separated for silk-screen by the client – I took care to use only a limited number of colors in the design to make that easier.I have a couple in my closet – they turned out great.

Description:
Custom logo design I created for the rock music website Hard Rock Daddy of a mohawk doting skull with wings.
The client wanted something iconic and with a lot of character, so that we could later create a storyline with the mascot in different situations for t-shirts and other promotional items. The mohawk is a signature trait of the owner of the brand – we made it a vibrant blue, which will be carried out through all of the website’s branding.
We cycled through several different compositions and angles until we got it just right.

Album cover I created for the religious metal band Cryptic Affection. The band approached me with a symbol-packed layout sketch, and set me loose on the design.I really enjoyed pumping in all the detail and finding a place for everything in this complex composition.

Again, thanks a lot! We are very pleased with working with you.
Custom logos I created for the Mile High Tattoo shop. The shop approached me with an out-dated logo that they wanted revamped, and we came up with these two separate illustrated logos that fit their classic sailor vibe
I was hired by a fabric pot manufacturer for growing plants to create a t-shirt for their conventions. They wanted something that displayed their product in a way that people would want to wear, even if they weren’t familiar with the product. Naturally, I went with a skull. The design was set up for limited color silk-screen (I believe 4 colors). They were kind enough to send me a shirt, and it turned out great!

The band Hang The Jester hired me to create this detailed illustration of an evil jester made of a skull and horns for their latest album cover. The band asked me to create something with a very liited color scheme, and a lot of pen and ink detail.Unlike many of my other designs which are often 100% digital, I drew and inked this design on paper with technical pens and a brush.

This is a personal piece I did for myself recently of a biker skeleton riding through flames on a motorcycle. Pretty cutting edge stuff, I know! I experimented with some new techniques here that I’m happy with – combining a bit of digital painting with comic book lineart. I’m hoping to license this artwork for other uses, and print it on some apparel.
Digitally painted t-shirt illustration of an evil skull with wings and barbaric weapons I created for the dark apparel company Spiral Direct. This was inspired by a similar design I had done in the past, but taken in a more realistic rendering direction. It was a lot of fun exploring the same subject matter in a different style – it’s a great way to discover the limitations and strengths of a particular method.

I wanted to create a an illustration as a sample to try to get work from young-adult fantasy book publishers, a market that I’d like to do more work in. I chose a scene with an adventurer in an Aztec-like jungle temple so I could draw some funny and creepy totems – and I even got to sneak a skull in there too! I like to try different styles and themes whenever I can – keeps things from getting stale. I’m happy with how this turned out, and would like to do more in this genre.

Speed-Inking Tutorial video I created for the process of digitally inking an album cover for the Brazillian band John Wayne in Manga Studio 5 (Clip Studio Paint) with a Wacom Cintiq 24HD.
The album cover I illustrated was for the Brazilian heavy metal band John Wayne (named after John Wayne Gacy – not the other guy). It was a great pleasure working on this with the band, as they gave me a lot of freedom, and I set upon the design without much planning, and tried to let it flow. This album cover is the first in a set of two albums, that when placed together will form one cohesive image. This album represents the dark side, while the following album will have a similar design, but mirrored, and “lighter.”

I was hired to illustrate this T-Shirt design for one of my favorite clients, Darkhorse Fightwear, for their new line of MMA apparel. The design was set up for silk-screen using three colors, and illustrated in Manga Studio and Adobe Photoshop. The design was inspired by a previous illustration I created a few years ago – it was fun to revisit it and test out some new skills while illustrating it. The design features a skull in the center with wings and chains surrounding.

T-Shirt illustration I created of a skeleton riding a chopper through flames for the motorcycle club Celtic Warriors. It’s always a pleasure to work on direct-to-garment T-Shirts, because I don’t have to hold back on colors.
Signed art prints of the design will also be auctioned off to support the client’s local police force, of which he is a member.
T-Shirt design I created of a mushroom cloud shaped fire skull for Nuke Proof Tools. The image will be used on banners and T-Shirts for the company’s tradeshows and events. The client had seen a mushroom cloud skull design I did years ago, and wanted something similar. It was fun to go back and work on the same concept, and have the chance to make imrpovements.
T-Shirt design I illustrated of a skeleton with dual airbrushes for the awesome airbrush shop Explicit Airbrush. The client and owner of the shop is an artist himself, so I had a lot of fun as our collective minds grew this illustration. This design is set up for Direct-to-garment printing.
Custom T-Shirt illustration for Hard Ride Saloon called “American Patriot.” The client wanted something patriotic and dark, so we came up with this image of a skeleton soldier holding a rifle. This design was set up for silk-screening, 4 colors.
Custom logo design I created for Outlaw 10.5, a racing company in Australia. This was an update of his existing logo that needed a complete re-imagining. The logo features a skeleton outlaw holding a smoking gun, and a 10 and 5 of diamonds.

Custom t-shirt design I created for a chop shop called Gage Bros. I always love working on Direct-To-Garment designs like this one, because I’m not confined by how many colors I can use. We decided the best way to illustrate the biker shop was with a skeleton rider.
T-Shirt illustration I created for Design By Humans of a Tiki Man holding a skull and a dead crow. I’ve been trying to make more time for fun personal products like this.
