I created this mascot design of a drill sergeant made of rock and mud for Hardcore Muddrun, one of the leading obstacle training courses.  The client needed a mascot for their website, apparel, and other branding.  We are also working on several different poses, along with an animation in the future.  This is probably as close as I will ever get to an actual mud run!

Logo and mascot design I created for a marijuana themed printing business called Kush Canvas. The client asked me to create a friendly character made from a leafy bud. I designed the logo in three different versions: one-color, simple-color, and full-color, so that it could be used in many different applications.

Client:

G & L Diesel

Description:

Logo design I created for an automotive repair shop and racing company called G&L Diesel, featuring a monster character holding a turbo.

The client hired me to create a sharp looking logo and a humorous mascot character. After submitting a few concept sketches, we picked this version of the monster: a horned, and mischievious looking creature holding a turbo and zipped into a racing suit.

The logo was provided in several different variations, colors, and formats to maximize the client’s usage.

Client:

Fort Worth Flyers

Description:

A mascot character design I created recently for a basketball team called the Fort Worth Flyers. The client wanted the mascot to be based on the Tuskegee Airmen. We were careful to include accurate details, from the plane in the background to the flight goggles. I provided the logo in several different versions, for embroidery, silk-screening, and full-color printing.

Testimonial:

I am big on communication and I must say that Brian was very thorough. Further, he went over and beyond my expectations by ensuring the logo would fit the various applications we needed it for. I am highly pleased, definitely recommend, and look forward to doing business with him in the future!

Custom poster illustration I created for the Mud Endeavor relay races in Florida. The client wanted a colorful, fun design for the event poster. I came up with the idea of having the contestants actually made of mud, since the particpants are usually covered in mud by the end of the race.

Benner-Elementary-Mascot

Mascot design and illustration for Benner Elementary School I created in conjunction with Lake Creative.

Shannon Lake and I were tasked with reinventing their bear mascot into something fun and colorful that the children could identify with.  This was a really fun personal project, because my son Michael just started Kindergarten at this school.  It’s a really cool feeling to walk in the school and see kids here and there wearing the T-Shirt.  Michael loves wearing it, though it’s a couple sizes too big for him!

Logo design I created for a distributer in Florida that deals in electronic cigarettes.  The owner is a real nice dude who goes on Safaris in his spare time.  He hired me to create a logo and mascot character combining the two themes.  We had a lot of fun with this one!
