Kjakan Russ Logo

Design featuring the most decorated norwegian soldier in history. The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition.  If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation.  The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes.  I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it. Logo and mascot design I created for a marijuana themed printing business called Kush Canvas. The client asked me to create a friendly character made from a leafy bud. I designed the logo in three different versions: one-color, simple-color, and full-color, so that it could be used in many different applications.

G & L Diesel

Description:

Logo design I created for an automotive repair shop and racing company called G&L Diesel, featuring a monster character holding a turbo.

The client hired me to create a sharp looking logo and a humorous mascot character. After submitting a few concept sketches, we picked this version of the monster: a horned, and mischievious looking creature holding a turbo and zipped into a racing suit.

The logo was provided in several different variations, colors, and formats to maximize the client’s usage.

Fort Worth Flyers

Description:

A mascot character design I created recently for a basketball team called the Fort Worth Flyers. The client wanted the mascot to be based on the Tuskegee Airmen. We were careful to include accurate details, from the plane in the background to the flight goggles. I provided the logo in several different versions, for embroidery, silk-screening, and full-color printing.

Testimonial:

I am big on communication and I must say that Brian was very thorough. Further, he went over and beyond my expectations by ensuring the logo would fit the various applications we needed it for. I am highly pleased, definitely recommend, and look forward to doing business with him in the future!

Salty Dog Vapor

Description:

Logo design I created for a vaping shop in Louisiana called Salty Dog Vapor. We decided early on that the mascot should be a tough bulldog sailor. Extremely pleased with how this turned out.

Dragonfire Aesthetics Ltd.

Description:

Logo design I created for a wieghtlifting apparel company in Manchester, UK called Dragonfire Aesthetics, of a red pumped-up weightlifting dragon.

Designing this logo was a fun challenge, because the client wanted to include a lot of elements with a lot of detail (the dragon, weightlifting, tail, muscles, and lots and lots of fire).

When we were finished, I created the logo in a lot of different formats and variations, all the way from a simple one-color design for embroidery to a full-color, fully rendered design for his website.

El Gun Legro Logo El Gun Legro Logo

Logo design I created for the Nerd-core hip-hop artist, El Gun Legro.  This guy has a ton of personality, and we set out to create an icon and typeface that would capture that.  It was also import to retain a comic book feel, since comic conventions are a huge part of his set list.  We kicked around a couple of designs, but ultimately, we landed on this one, with a screaming mic with cords mimicing El Gun’s iconic wig.

Check him out here (J-Light is wearing a shirt I designed for El Gun!):
