Original Turnaround of Gritty

Here’s the character turnaround illustration I originally created for the Flyers that was sent to the costume company, Character Translations Inc to make Gritty into a the big ball of orange fur we all love or hate! I originally submitted 25 different 20-minute rough sketches of what the mascot could be, and the Art Directors picked something very similar to what Gritty looks like today.
