Always a fun challenge to draw cars, which can be very hard to get right. I had to us a lot of reference photos for this one to get the details of the models just right (or close enough anyway).

The design is black and white on the shirt until the wearer goes out into the sun, and the colors are revealed!

I had fun creating the characters from the watchmen for this Russ Logo. The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it.

I was commissioned to design this poster for the new documentary about the Phyrst bar in State College, Pennsylvania by Blue White TV. The bar has a tremendous history, and it’s really great to be a part of it in a tiny way.
The client wanted a crazy 60’s color scheme to set the tone for the theme so I went with lots of yellows and purples. Awesome to be a part of this production!

Owner of the Heavenly brand resort hired me to create this t-shirt design for his ranch, illustrating his likeness and his dog chilling on the beach in a hammock.
I tried to render this one a little differently than my previous beach designs, using a softer pencil for the lineart instead of a thicker, chunkier ink brush and then doing more of the rendering in the coloring stage. I like the result!

I was thrilled recently to work with #BoyScouts Of America illustrating their Bear, Wolf, and Tiger #mascots for a catalog that went out to all troops nationwide. We created illustrations that blended real studio photos of kids in Boy Scouts gear, and drawn into a comic book background. The marketing team hired me to reinvent the existing mascot illustrations in my own style. I was hired by a fabric pot manufacturer for growing plants to create a t-shirt for their conventions featuring this hipster bear character we came up with, holding one of their fabric pots. They wanted something that displayed their product in a way that people would want to wear, even if they weren’t familiar with the product. This was printed with direct-to-garment full-color printing. They were kind enough to send me a shirt, and it turned out great!

This was a really fun, trippy, and detailed illustration I created for Waz Shop of a pink dancing elephant and robot hornet for a line of all-over print apparel to be sold at festivals and concerts.
The client really let me explore and go a little nuts on this one, which is always a good time. We set this up at a huge size, so it could be printed on tapestries.
