Humorous and dark Illustration of a killer bee with a chainsaw

Client:

Katie Boyle

Description:

This illustration was for a private commission for a fan’s husband (I believe as an anniversary present).  She needed a large illustration to fit on two facing panels in a hallway, and wanted it to be fun and creepy at the same time.  We came up with this idea of drawing a giant killer bee wielding a chainsaw in a ruined city as bystanders flee in fear.  I chose colors that would compliment the existing scheme in their home.  She was thrilled with how it turned out.  I printed them out on two large 36 inch square panels.  I’m thinking about making stickers of the chainsaw-bee.

Client Testimonial:

We just got them in the mail yesterday and they look FANTASTIC!  I can’t wait to get them in a frame!
